Sophia Antipolis – iQsim, the leading manufacturer of Virtual SIM enabled mobile devices, today announces that Orange France, one of the world’s leading telecommunications operators, completed the deployment of its mobile testing solution to perform QoE testing for all the new mobile services (voice, SMS, MMS, data, USSD,…) prior to any commercial deployment.
Matei Mihailovici, Head of Department “Mobile Offers Evolutions Testing” at Orange, declared: “At Orange, QoE is extremely important because customer satisfaction is a major concern. More than two years ago, the technical staff of Orange France chose IQsim to automatize the end-to-end tests for the mobile offerings.” Matei added “The IQsim solution enabled Orange to broaden the panel of tested offerings and provided a significant flexibility during the test campaigns due to the 24/7 usage of the robots”.
The solution proposed by iQsim includes 3G/4G R250 Robots and a Smart SIM Rack for central management and remote SIM card allocation. This architecture allows Orange to simulate the customer usages in order to validate the new offerings and check that the current services are working in a satisfactory manner.
Philippe Bessaguet, CEO of iQsim, explained: “Orange’s ambition in QoS/QoE for the next generation of services is a key element of our partnership strategy to develop a range of test solutions anticipating the future mobile usages.” Philippe added: “Ultimately, we help Orange in optimizing the time-to-market of the new offers but also in defining the future of the customer experience.”
