French manufacturer iQsim, the leading provider of Virtual SIM enabled mobile devices, and GMC SOFT, a Peruvian software development company for the telecommunications industry, announce their partnership to create the first local automated solution for testing of voice, data, SMS, MMS, USSD, FTP, WAP/HTTP, SMTP over 2G, 3G and LTE networks for Telefónica in Peru.

Telefónica, in its search to improve its quality of service, performs numerous tests to certify its commercial offerings, before and after their actual launch to the market. For that, the leading operator in Peru has a team of highly qualified analysts and engineers preparing and configuring solutions that used to be manually tested through mobile equipment. This process used to take from 1 to 4 months and was subject to operational flow failures.

Now, the new testing solution implemented by iQsim and GMC SOFT, allows all types of usages of the services and related user experiences to be recreated and tested through the configuration of various scenarios. This is processed automatically with a 24x7 availability.

The implementation of this testing solution also provides indicators for the measurement of revenue assurance: calls not charged and minutes or volume of data not correctly counted.

 In addition, the generation of operational and strategic reports provides service performance visibility by detecting possible system failures in the network or in the operator's commercial offer.

 GMC SOFT and iQsim will implement this technology within other operators in Latin America.  Operators, service providers and regulators have been enthusiastic about hiring such a solution to improve the user experience, quality of service and revenue assurance.
